Meagan is the absolute worst. It's hard to imagine she could be more insufferable than Betty but it's happened.

I think some of you are missing the point... The scene with the kids, Megan leaving the picture, Rachel dying, the waitress being a sub for Rachel then her rejecting him, his empty apartment at the end... All leading to Don realizing how truly alone he is. He's got nobody...
The choices he's made have left him alienated from everyone who he's ever cared about.

They hooked up and she told him she wasn't worried about the consequences and she wouldnt be obsessive
The way it ended last season was the real Megan. She wasn't bitter, she just knew it was over
The Megan last night was out for blood because of her failing career and her mother cheating which destroyed all her illusions of marriage

I think Don needed a nanny on an LA trip and Meagan was his secretary so he asked her to fill in. On the trip he slept with her in true Don style. When they got back they were still in a fling. She probably did blow him in the office.
