why are the classes $4500 a semester? does that seem high especially for BRCC? Im trying to find the cheapest tuition cost due to the fact that I am not sure if the financial aid would cover the whole amount.
This was from a couple pages back. . . I'll just leave it here again.

Went to the nursing school off Julia St. And there program takes 2 yrs at $4500 a semester.
each semester at BRCC has been about $1000-1500 after all fees, depending on how many classes were taken. . .
(I pretty much followed the curriculum plan that is on the BRCC website)
and to add to that, I will be applying to ULL's RN to BSN program either in the fall or next spring. . . cost is a little over $8k and can be completed within 10 months, all while employed full time.

Another consideration for ADN vs BSN is what does it take to get into that school.
I considered ADN because it would only take 2 yrs but I knew my gpa wasn't great and the AD program wanted a gpa of like 3.8. AND there was a waiting list. How many students does the school take each semester?
I went BSN many years ago because, as it turned out, that was my shortest route.
Each school has their bullshite hoops that they want you to jump thru. Just be aware.
Go to the school and make sure they take all the credits she has accumulated. Sometimes schools get very picky when all your prerequisite are taken somewhere else.
You didn't spend any money at that school and their loyalty may be with those that did.
I have heard it's better now, but it used to be horrendous.
