Being an athlete is more about the mental focus and determination than it is the physical. In golf, as in many other sports, the better mentally focused and prepared mind has a huge advantage.

True. But golf is clearly a refined physical skill as well. I'm not a golf fan, but it always makes me lol when someone tries to say it isn't a sport (not saying you are). It's the very definition of sport.

lol, no it's not. It makes a good athlete great. But you can have all the mental focus you want, if you don't have the physical gifts, you aren't gonna be very good
