Hey Guys, has anyone taken any of LSU's online distance learning course? Im trying to reach my 150 credit requirement for my CPA license while also studying for the CPA exam, so Im trying to find "least" demanding course there is.

Any help or insight on one of the courses is appreciated!

As a side note, I was thinking about taking MKT3410 (Sports marketing) cause it looked somewhat interesting and I havent taken a class like that before. Also, all of these courses are fully online, and the tests you take are even online so I don't have to go to LSU to take them.

Here's the list of courses offered:

Thanks!

I'm currently taking ACCT 3001 and ISDS 3115 online. The ISDS class has been helpful as it applies to what I do on a daily basis and I should have an A upon completion; taking the final Friday.

I'm going to end up with a B in the ACCT class. I believe I'd have done better taking the course while I was at LSU as opposed to taking it online. I think the classroom discussions would have been a better way for me to learn the material rather than teaching myself the information.

The thing that shocked me the most was test taking. They are given through ProctorU, a third party site that literally watches you on webcam while you take the exams. In reality it's not much different than taking an exam being proctored in a classroom, it was just a new idea to me.

All in all I've enjoyed the online classes and plan on enrolling in a couple more when I finish these

Took POLI 2051. You have to do 15 assignments that are 4-5 essays however all the essays are online and you just have to change up a few things to each and you're good. There are two exams but if you study the key terms and the essays just a little bit you will be fine. Got an A with little to no effort and took 3 months

Okay Cool! yeah im going to look into the program information class, hopefully it wouldnt be a repeat of a class I have already taken. And I assume the ISDS class isnt too difficult?

The ProctorU took sometime for me to get used to as well. It was kind of weird lol
