I think a lot of companies are catching on to the fact that in the age of virality and social media, some out-of-the-blue good deeds go a long way in terms of brand awareness.

Just like with that Price Is Right model accidentally giving away the car last week. It was like a $20k car, and they got way more than that in terms of publicity, and even more for taking it in stride.
