I always got something relatively small and clothes.. Same for my kids.. They got two shirts, candy, baseball cards and some fun outdoor stuff, eg; wiffle balls, frisbee, moon ball and the youngest got a stuffed animal.
Eta.. I got more clothes as I aged and so will my kids.. Just give it to them at Easter instead of dragging them around shopping.. Everyone's happy.
