re: Toledo bend

Loading the boat as well this am - heading up after a HS baseball game this afternoon. Have not heard a lot of reports but we go this time every year and do fairly well. Sacs - shiner about 18" under cork around brush along bank in coves or grass flats in coves. Can also catch them staging under Pendleton bridge. Bass - work worms or flukes over grass in Indian mounds area or any flat with grass. Spinners and rattle trap work Well depending on the spawn (early or late) - just adjust retreive speed till you find what works. I am no expert and we go mainly for fun and family fellowship - the catching is lagniappe.
