Outside of the shot blocking, what skills does he have that make him a 4
He's a post player, which makes him a back to the basket type 4 in the NBA, simple as that. He has no shot, which is why he can never play the 3. He NEVER even tried to make the 3 a part of his game.

He played in the post some maybe even most of the time. That does not make him a post player. He wasn't really hitting hook shots and backing people down. He had a good baseline move that got him dunks, but he was a slasher guy with a 17 footer. That's more 3 than 4 to my mind. He wasn't very good with his back to the basket, and wasn't very good as a passer from there either (the Alabama game comes to mind).
If you are an NBA team, you're going to teach him how to drive and kick and play balls out on ball defense. I don't think you can teach him how to not get knocked around by the bruising NBA fours. You can probably make that guy a great defender, rebounder, and slasher at the 3, however. Just my thought.

Honestly, he normally just turned the ball over when he was posting up... At least they won't call a travel on his little spin move like they do in college, but I don't think he will have much success posting up in NBA. Possible over seas but only time will tell.
I still wish the best for him. He was a favorite of many, and I loved what he brought to the squad. I really, really wish he would be on the team next year. Could have made a huge difference.
