"[For] many Swedes, gender equality is not enough. Many are pushing for the Nordic nation to be not simply gender-equal but gender-neutral. The idea is that the government and society should tolerate no distinctions at all between the sexes.
But doesn't making everything neutral deny transgenders the ability to express themselves as the opposite sex?
Very offensive and bigoted.

And they probably bitch at the "intolerance" of others.

There's a lot of circle jerking going on in here, but it doesn't hurt to have an agender pronoun. People use it all the time in the US..we just use "they".. For example:
You might say while hosting a party, "If someone wants a beer, they can grab one from the fridge." It's not grammatically correct, but it's the same thing as an agender pronoun. I'm sure everyone does that.
When I was in college, there was a person who was seemingly part man/part woman around chimes street. Not one of the ultra liberal bi-genderal-fluidsexuals you joke about, but someone who was born a hermaphrodite or something. In this case, saying either "he" or "she" didn't really sound right. Not that anyone should be offended by calling the person "he", but having a gender neutral pronoun would be better than calling the person "it".
