Chavis acts like his D's were great on their own. Not TRUE. Let's see if he can hold up a strong Defense when the A&M offense time of possession is well below that of LSU's. One reason his defenses were highly ranked was that our offenses controlled the game clock and kept the ball the majority of the time.

I attended the coaches luncheon before the game in Nashville and his body language said it all. He was standing off to the side (not with the other coaches or players) and when the coaches began to sit down Chavis had to be asked (coaxed, encouraged strongly) to sit with them at the Coaches table. I think this was not just a rift between Alleva and Chavis or the school and Chavis, but it was one between Chavis and Coach Miles as well.

He could not hide his attitude that day and I knew he was gone right then and there. His body language and demeanor said he was gone, and he WAS!

After watching 4th quarter leads vanish, a la' Bama TWICE, and Notre Dame in the MCB I'm glad he's gone. Now let's see if Steele can hold on to a lead.
