Have a 2007 Rhino for light trail riding and hunting. Its old but in good shape. Someone told me the RZR would give me access to National Forest service trails, which are abundant around me. These trails have a 50 inch rule on width. The rhino is like 54. I like the Mavericks too but know little about them. Anyone know for sure about the Rzr and NF land or have experience with the RZR or Mavericks.

The liberty 800 motor they stuck in the small rzrs is probably the best atv engine ever.

I'm rather partial to Honda, but those motors can take a ton of abuse and keep right on going.

The driveline on the rzr is very good. It is a Polaris. That means do your maintenance. Grease it after every ride. Change your fluids at recommended intervals. And learn to drive the Polaris belt drive system correctly and you will never have an issue.

As for the canams... I like the bikes, but rotax motors have an expiration date. They run incredibly, and they do so until they grenade. The bias is a carry over from Their small aircraft motors... But I just can't get past watching a perfectly running motor grenade for seemingly no reason.

Cant take the Maverick on NF land. The smallest wheelbase they offer is 60''.

The 2015 RZR 900 trail is 50" and a beast. Get the EPS model
