Seriously? So we criticize cops for having the mentality that a different set of standards apply to them, then we suggest a different set of standards apply to them.
ETA: These guys should have certainly been given some form of a sobriety test, but not in excess of what any civilian would be exposed to.

you don't think that someone that has the power to do that should be especially scrutinized for killing someone by drinking and driving?

What will be interesting to see is what the driver will be charged with if he survives.

Those charged with upholding the law certainly should be held to a higher standard than the average Joe.
