Somehow I knew when I made that comment it would attract some "who?" comments. BTW, I was referring to Baton Rouge places, not NO.

Besides the chains like Olive Garden, Red Lobster etc, local places that draw mostly unfavorable comments are Fleur-de-lis, Walk-ons, TJ Ribs, and Pastime gets hit on too. There are several others that don't come immediately to mind, but I enjoy all those places and take the comments lightly.

The FDB has a lot of repeat threads over the best burger, best pizza, the latest gastronomic delight from Taco Bell, so it's a fun board, but its not the NY Times restaurant review. Enjoyable, yes, powerful, no.
