re: Am I the only one who gets too emotionally invested?

I've really got to learn how to care less, what I dread the most is everyone will be talking about this and the baseball game all day today. That's the worst.

My buddies response to me when I asked how I could make myself care less:

"Every time LSU is playing a game that you start to watch put in your headphones and play Hanson music. It'll desensitize you to wanting to watch the games over time bc you'll hate the anticipation of listening to Hanson."

At least he made me laugh
