I wouldn't call it "high-paying" which is why I started my own firm.
I enjoyed it, but could not generate enough business. My field is incredibly crowded and if you don't have enough money to reach a critical mass of advertising, you might as well not try.
But, I definitely enjoyed being my own boss - for awhile.
