lil tiger22-McCray is just a means to an end. He is what he is and that is the most influential person in the most powerful AAU basketball program in the United States.
Don't know what happenned with McCray and LSU but if you don't believe McCray has the capabilities to bring in Top Level talent, all I can say to you is sit back and watch. I would be willing to bet Howland first call was to McCray. Anyway we have our own super recruiter in David Patrick and just as Patrick has his Aussie connection, so does McCray.

Was Patrick on the staff at the same time McCray was? I can't remeber the timeline of coaches. I know we lost Robert Kirby to Memphis. Was that this post off-season in how we got Musselman or did Musselman take McCrays spot? I'm not doubting McCrays I'm simply asking the question because if I remeber correctly he was basically told to explore other options like what Miles does when assistants leave.
