For the record, lots of us hate our jobs.

Navy, I may have phrased the OP in a way that made it seem as if I hate my job. I sound like a broken record by now, but I really don't. Isn't it entirely possible to just get burned out even while doing something you enjoy? If you do it long enough or work like a dog? It's not that I long for other things to do. It's that I long to spend a full day with my baby free from my phone, and knowing I can do it all over again the next day. It's just been a while since I've been able to disconnect. I did it slightly on maternity leave (2 years ago) and one other time in Italy (3 years ago).
I sound whiny, sorry.
