I was trying to go a bit more realistic. And I think having two 7 footers on your team that can guard 1-5 and throw down lobs from anywhere on the court would be very significant. Also Carroll is a top 5-10 wing defender with the ability to guard Durant, Lebron, Melo, Paul George, and Butler.

I know.

But when you look at championship teams, they are built around 2 HOFers.

Outside of a great Jason Kidd Nets team, Iverson Sixers team, Dwight's Orlando team, and Lebron's Cleveland team, even the teams getting to the championship game usually have 2 HOFers. and if you noticed, all of those teams came out of the weak East.

ATL, we are kind of stuck with Jrue, but wouldn't Reke/Cole be the most realistic option for us considering Jrue can't stay on the floor? Gordon is injury prone, too, so we are basically stuck with him as well unless he opts out.

I just don't know why we would move the one guard we have that consistently gets on the floor.

Assuming that we keep Reke, what does that do us long term? Do we go and get another PG after Jrue falls off the books? Isn't this the more likely path?
