Have read Confederacy at least twice and will read it several more times, in my lifetime. Saw the play many years ago at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. That was great!!! Don't know of any other book whose writer captured personalities as well as Confederacy. Having grown up in New Orleans, I "knew" all of the personalities presented by Toole.
Have you seen the bronze statue of Ignatius, under the clock, at D.H. Holmes original location on Canal St.?
