Well when we had mett, landry, beckham, and hill raping on offense he still found a way to frick it up late in games
I'll give ya the UGA game. But not the Ole Miss or Bama game.. Chavis kept Bama in check and the LSU offense let more than a couple chances choke away. And the Ole Miss game was ALL on the LSU offense.......

Yeah, let's ignore the 13-play drive that Ole Miss used to decimate the clock and to regain the lead after LSU had pulled even.

retarded analysis.
2013 lsu defense
437 yards 21 pts Auburn
494 yards 44 pts UGA
468 yards 26 pts MSU
525 yards 27 pts Ole Miss
372 yards 38 pts Bama
360 yards 27 pts Arky
Add that to the games against TAMU and UF, and we gave up on average 399 yards and 26 pts in SEC play. It also helps your team defensive ranking when you schedule 4 nobodies for OOC.

quote:It was a really conservative offense that threw those 3 interceptions against Ole Miss. In hind sight LSU should have used the type of conservative offense that was the OP's complaint, and the supposed reason Chavis left. And LSU's defense didn't stop Alabama at all in the second half. It wasn't a tired defense. It was a defense that couldn't cope with Alabama's offense. Alabama's OC made better adjustments at half than Chavis.
But not the Ole Miss or Bama game
