When we drove to Fort Bragg we hit Oakland right at 5 pm on a Friday.....it was insane the rush hour traffic. Coming back we completely bypassed that whole area to avoid rush hour.
My brother says his commute is about 40 minutes from Oakland to SF..and that is all public transportation (he doesn't own a car)
