Whole family is from Louisiana and I was born here but moved to Houston when I was 3. So I grew up in Houston but always wanted to go to LSU.
I graduated in the top 10% of my class from high school, so I was automatically accepted to UT or aTm. Neither school offered me any scholarship money, LSU offered me pretty close to a full ride. I chose LSU for costs, plus it was already my dream school for as long as I can remember.
I've graduated and still live in Baton Rouge, don't regret my decision at all.
