What is the best ratio of fertilizer for centipede? I recall reading somewhere that the first number not being very high is important for centipede.

More than 1# of nitrogen per year will onset centipede decline...Centipede is called the lazy man's grass for a reason, you can fertilize it to death. A good general for centipede is 0-5-15. I fertilize with 0-5-15 twice a year, once in the spring and once in early fall. This is my centipede going into the fall last year




Centipede is pretty forgiving, especially compared to something like turf Bermuda
