Ok I want to try the DE razors. Someone point me in the right direction. (Website)(razors)(shave cream or oil)(brush, cup) and whatever else I would need in my situation. I have a very sensitive neck. I have thick dark whiskers. I only shave about 3 times a week because of the razor burn. And I only shave in the shower. I've got a nice big shower with plenty of room and it is much more convenient for me.

I got into DE razors bc of the long shaving thread on this forum. I'd had it with razor burn.

Picked up Edwin jagger handle and boar brush (there are different levels of these so just read about them). Astra and Feather platinum blades, and Taylor of Old Bond Street Almond scent cream. The cream costs me like $17 and I just started a new can today after 8 months on the first one. I spent bout 10-15 in blades and am set for over a year as I use 1 blade per week

Bought everything on Amazon.

Edit: I did pick up a small thing of aftershave lotion by Dove from Walmart. Shave 3x per week and haven't had razor burn in 8 months.

Not recommended if you're on a diet. That stuff smells amazing.

I started DE shaving in ~September '13. I've gone through 2 Taylor of Old Bond Street cans (sandalwood and lemon & lime) and just starting on my third (Mr Taylor's or Eton College. I forget. It was shipped to me mistakenly when I ordered Rose). They usually run $11-15 or so, and that gives me close to about the same 8mo average you got. Even if I were just breaking even, the scents are enjoyable and the shave is fun.

I'm also about tired of the DE sampler blade pack I bought. Considering grabbing 5-15 Bluebird and Feathers to weigh them against the Astras I'm so fond of before investing in a 100-200pk of one kind of razor.
