I also think that in olden times it was a way to control people. If you have expansive borders and no way to make sure your people are staying loyal and being good, you simply tell them that if they do bad stuff, they'll go to some fiery place for eternity.


This is pretty much where I'm at with it all.

I'd like to think there's a being or something out there, but on the other hand I just can't get into organized religion. Most of those people are crazy. I just try to be a decent person and let whatever happens happen. Which, I think if you look at the big picture, that's whole point of it all.
