Defensive Backs
Charles Gaines - Louisville. 5'10, 180lbs. 4.44 40dash. 34.5"vert
Pros - Was a WR coming out of high school and you can see it when hes playing DB. Unique feel and understanding of passing concepts and routes. Great anticipation. Quality cover skills, mirrors WR. Underneath coverage skills are best in this class. Really good start / stop ability and change of direction. Really explodes out of his backpedal. Excellent at reading a QB and is not fooled by play action or route fakes by WR. Fast. High instincts and very opportunistic. Confident and lets the opponent hear it. Very competitive. CB2 / slot CB.
Cons - Size and frame. Struggles vs bigger WRs and against the long ball. Plays outside of the WR too often and can get beat on quick slants, posts, crosses. Not physical in run support.

Craig Mager - Texas St. 5'11, 201lbs. 4.44 40dash. 38"vert. 10'8 broad.
Pros - Very productive 4 year starter. Quick player with great burst and ability to start /stop on a dime. Solid hips and can change direction. Great burst out of his backpedal and drives through the WR, ends up breaking up more passes by doing this. Active feet and very good ball skills. Can locate the ball, time his jump and high point it. Standout at the East / West Shrine game. Has returned punts. Plays with a lot of passion and fire. Loves contact. Very competitive. High motor with high character.
Cons - Can be over aggressive at times, commits too quickly on 1st move and ends up getting beat on the double move. Average instincts. Needs to get better at reading plays and anticipating.

Gerod Holliman - Louisville. 6'0, 218lbs. Highlights
Pros - Outstanding production in 2014. 17passes defender with 14 INTs, picked off Winston twice. Best instincts and ball skills in this class. Knows how to bait QBs into a throw and makes them pay. Very smooth back pedal with fluid hips. Playmaker with that 6th sense where its like he knows where the ball is going. Understands routes and concepts. Big hits. Hes a true Free Safety, but has experience playing slot CB.
Cons - 1 year wonder with production. Risk taker and undisciplined. Tends to sit on PA a bit too long. Bad open field tackling. Lack of urgency or effort in run support and in pursuit. Questions about his effort, competitiveness, football character.

Doran Grant - Ohio St. 5'10, 200lbs. 4.44 40dash. 33"vert. 21reps.
Pros - Versatile player that physically looks the part. Solid in press coverage and has good hands. Can force WRs off routes. Smart player that is rarely fooled. Decent burst. Breaks down in the open field and rarely misses a tackle. Can play Special Teams.
Cons - Shorter for an outside CB, might have to move to slot CB. Heavy footed when hes not in press coverage, hesitant and waits too long to break. Might be a system CB.

Lorenzo Doss - Tulane. 5'10, 182lbs. 4.50 40dash. 33.5"vert.
Pros - Smooth, natural CB. Very polished in his backpedal, change of direction, etc. No wasted motion. WR in H.S and has great ball skills. Plays bigger than he is. 33 passes defender, 15 INTs in college. Very good instincts and feel for the game. Tough kid, plays banged up and doesnt miss practice. High character. Workaholic.
Cons - Takes too many chances. Can be bullied by bigger WRs at the line of scrimmage. Tries to make too many big plays instead of making the right play. Athleticism and size limits potential Feast or famine type of CB.
----------------------------------------------

My personal favorites:

QB - Jake Waters. Kids a competitor and tough as nails. Good fit for our system and models himself after Brees.

RB - David Johnson - Outside of Gordon and Gurley, Johnson is as good as any of them. A complete RB that would an awesome fit in our system. Very Matt Forte-ish.

WR - Tyler Lockett is 1 of my favorites in this entire draft, but could be gone in the 3rd. So besides him, Im really high on Justin Hardy and Tre McBride. Please go watch McBrides highlights. Some of those catches are outstanding and he has great value in the 5th.

Tight Ends - Wes Saxton. Very athletic and versatile. Could be an H-Back type of player like Marcel Reece or Delanie Walker.

OL - Corey Robinson - Very big and great length. Surprisingly athletic for his size. His issues can be fixed / improved over time.

DT - Leterrius Walton and Xavier Williams. Walton has massive upside with great size and athleticism and versatility. Williams isnt as big, but has great burst.

Edge Players - Lynden Trail and Max Valles. Both guys have what you want in an edge player. But Trail is a bigger freak. His potential is off the charts. Valles has the potential to be really good as well.

DB - Craig Mager and Holliman. Love the way Mager plays and is very athletic and physical. Holliman has elite instincts and ball skills. If he was better in run support and didnt have questions about his character and effort, he would be the top safety in this class. He still could be the best safety in this class though and is a true cover safety.

HIGHLIGHTS TO WATCH: David Johnson, Tre McBride, Justin Hardy, Lynden Trail.

Feel free to add to this.
