Nick Cage as rarified air sounds like satire.

FWIW I think JC is sold short for both his comedy as acting and for his more dramatic efforts. Jim Carrey's highs are probably comparable to Cage and his stinkers are comparable or better. Other than maybe Leaving Las Vegas I suppose... that's a special (depressing) movie... but Cage could never do some of the better comedies than JC can and I think that's worth something

Can I take a moment here to praise the legacy of one Bill Paxton. He has been killed by an Alien, a Predator, and gotten beat up by a Terminator.

It is. All the other actors we listed are not

We had a good run of people that had infinitely better resumes than cage until people started listing macauley culkin and shite
