As long as you are fairly emotionally stable and have a willingness to help, there would be an opportunity. They train you extensively on protocol, so they don't throw you to the wolves. Of course sometimes the caller will go through with it, and I couldn't imagine how traumatizing that could be. It's a huge time and emotional investment, that's for sure.
