Kenny was never a speedster back, why expecting to run a time as such.

No said shite about speed when he broke the Louisiana record in high school.

Come on now. Not just you, but others in this thread as well. I'm an LSU fan to my bone marrow, but Kenny running a 4.9 at 226 as a running back is very slow. We're not talking about a 4.68 which should have been expected, we're talking 4.83 and 4.9, those times don't even make sense.

Also like the one guy said, it was a lot of slower times. I was for sure that Yeldon, Abdullah and more would run better than a 4.6 something. Hell Duke Johnson, Melvin Gordon, etc times were way higher than most thought. The one surprise is that Langford is much faster than I thought. Another was that, I didn't know Karlos Williams was that big though (230?).

I used this last year, but seems like some scouts also picked up on it as well. Look at the 10 yard splits from now on. That shows you the true explosiveness of a prospect. Hill ran one of the fastest splits last year at 1.56 which is a perfect starting point to see just how explosive these guys are.

He was faster than 4.8 and he was still maturing/growing.

High school is sweet and all, but the NFL could care less. That speed at rb is not gonna cut it. Its not an attach on his character or nothing, but his natural size/speed maybe would have been suited better for a different position the last 2 years.
