While I disagree with the "long ahead" - this is yet another NWOBHM band that deserves to be in the HoF - if that distinction is to carry any weight.

I mean, come one - Ricky Nelson? The Supremes? James Taylor? Donovan?

And other than Donovan, these are legendary artists, just not traditionally defined as Rock and Roll. I can, sort of see an argument for the Beastie Boys (really sketchy), but Public Enemy? Legendary hip hop act, but not rock and roll.

Linda Rondstadt? Dusty Springfield? Cat Stevens?

Over Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Def Leppard?
