But the thing that puts it over the top is the dialogue. Haha, I find the dialogue utterly ridiculous, if entertaining.

I just can't understand the substantive praise for what is essentially a comic book version of a historical account (albeit one without a great deal of certainty). That said I really did enjoy it for what it was.
