Joker shouldn't exist until Batman does.
if they had to do it they could have strung out the unveiling of Batman's arch nemesis and one of the better villains of all time into....i dunno.... 2 or 3 episodes? I mean frick how did he even know the kid did it? i get how he knew the psychic was lying - that all made sense but literally nothing pointed to the kid.

I'm not a huge stickler for canon to the comics in TV shows. I get you have to cut some corners to put things on the screen. But having child Joker just seems completely unnecessary and shoehorned in.
