That interview is pretty spot on. I finally read the book recently(still working my way through the trilogy to find out what happens cause the writing is that horrible...it's like making yourself eat those vegetables you hate so your mom will let you have dessert). Do not get the hype for the book AT ALL. The whole time reading it you want to scream "you are only doing this cause he is a billionaire". No way she would be going along with it if Christian was a manager of an Office Depot or something like that.


Saw the movie as well yesterday with my friend and her gf's that kept raving about the books(had to bite my tongue and not give my real thoughts on the book). Movie sucks as well.

It was good to read that since it confirmed what I thought, so many dumb arse women could have been doing this with their husbands but instead would rather read a book. And I didn't know that the book was so poorly written, but I have now heard that a few times. So you have a shitty book, bored housewives, an apparently a terrible movie = so erotic

Why don't these women just tell their husbands they'd like to get whipped? I guarantee that wouldn't be a problem
