Agree with you 100%. Jackson was great. He is the antithesis of Josh Gray. The queazy feeling that I get when Josh Gray has the ball is the exact opposite of the feeling I would have when CJ had the ball. But he was nowhere in Maravich's class. CJ averaged somwhere around 30 ppg for 2 years while at LSU and that was with a 3 pt line. Pete averaged 44 ppg over a 3-year LSU career without one. They were both remarkably consistent with their scoring average being within a point or 2 of their career average every year. Pete's career college scoring records will never be touched.
