Caught one last year in March almost 9 lbs.

I also hooked it in the mouth.

Well did manage to catch supper. Only caught 2 keepers a 4 & 2.5. Caught a couple more under 14" & all on one of the crank baits you recommended
It rained on me most of the morning & North East wind was a bitch

I talked to my dad at around 2 and they had 2 keepers and 2 throwbacks. He said all of them had come in senkos and flukes. I should know how they finished before long.

Well that makes me feel better.
Did he say the lake was high due to the rain? Found several ditches that muddy water was very far out into the lake

Yeah he said it had come up some since last weekend. They were fishing in Housen.
