Sometimes you just need to put an athlete out there and let him catch the damn ball and make plays. Who knows what what would've happened had rumph gotten more snaps. Fans will always twist the hire like that.
Nick Saban could leave Bama tommorow and they would probably be like "we've got Lane Kiffen, he's the real key. Saban has always been just a recruiter and that's it. Bama will be better without him, we need fresh blood"
It's natural fandom logic. Sometimes they're right and sometimes they're wrong. But I wouldn't base my opinion of a coach on the thoughts of messAge board posters
