It was to draw a play. We had absolutely NOTHING going on that possession.

I was happy with actually using and not leaving timeouts on the board.

Then what Gray did with the ball pissed me the frick off.

The TO call was bad mostly because it should have been called about 10 second prior on that jumbled possession. Then, out of a timeout, Gray takes the ball with 5 seconds left and dribbles for 4 seconds and tries to pass to a side of the floor where there were zero bodies.

Sometimes, Jones + Gray are the perfect storm.

CJJ goes most of the season acting like timeouts are a bad thing and then he calls one in that situation?

Regardless it was still one of his best coached games at LSU.

The timeout wasn't an issue nor was when it was called. You are working the clock, running a playset that exhaust the entire shot clock. Instead of wasting the possession you call a timeout to try to get a decent shot. Gray just has to get a shot off in that situation.
