maybe I just didn't get it, but it just felt like so much work for who knows what

liked the continuous shot idea, but the jazz score was overdone and really distracting

what the hell was the point of getting Mike together with the daughter? That was a lot of glib conversation we watched for seemingly no reason

Exactly. It's like, I knew it had merit, but that wasn't enough to make me like it.

It's like a chick you date and you feel like you're supposed to like her more but you just don't. Kinda.

Or why the girl on girl scene? Or why the estranged mother? There was so much that was unnecessary and didn't add to a cohesive whole. And then the dialogue was less than great. And then that awful ending that bastardized the entire first two hours of the movie.
