It got too cute with the ending.
I loved the pacing. Felt the pacing was almost a character. I could really feel his desperation to make it work.
Stone was great in that scene where she destroys him, then realizes she went too far.
Not sure how anyone was expecting more. A quick synopsis of the movie tell you all you need to know.
All of the actors were top notch. God I hated that pompous bitch critic. She needed Atia of the Julii to take her down another peg.

Probably one of my favorite scenes last year. Birdman & Whiplash both have extraordinary acting performances.
