Well he's got a point, in the sense that Beck shouldn't have won. He's like a folk\rock singer that no one really knows. His album has only sold ~300k copies. All of the other albums up for the award had sold over a million.
I do agree Kanye is a terrible human being though

Album sales decide who wins Grammys now?

He has no point. Albums sold does not correlate to quality.
I believe Beck plays every instrument on his albums, writes and composes the songs. He's as close to the definition of a musical artist that I can think of except I guess he's not an amazing vocalist

It took 17 producers to do Beyonce's album. It took one person to do Beck's album, that was Beck himself. Beck is an artist in the truest way possible. Just because something isn't as popular doesn't mean it isn't a better quality product. Sturgill Simpson shits on every country artist in the game right now, yet he wasn't even nominated. The War on Drugs album was highly critically acclaimed, no Grammy nominations. Popularity doesn't mean jack shite outside of the fact that it's cliche music that appeals to the masses.

Yes, he's only a multi-platinum selling artist who is a true definition of artist when you compare him to the circus clown Kanye dancing around for everyone's attention.

Let me follow this line of thinking.
There are 2019 Applebee's franchises. There is only one Peche.
Applebee's > Peche
It's all so clear to me now.

WTF is wrong with you?! Obviously besides listening to shatty music. Beck had been around since the early 90's & his work is pure genius.

So does this mean Beringer White Zinfandel should win the best wine award?

Here's the difference between Beck and Kanye:
Beck just made an album of folk music and it is good (won grammy). He could make a rock album that would be good. He could also make a rap album and it would be good. I know this because he uses all these music styles in previous albums, and they are all good (good sales, won awards, etc..).
Kanye makes rap albums that are good (won grammies, good sales). But there's no way Kanye could make an album with any other type of music genre that would be any good. His musical talent is limited to rap, which in my opinion is the genre of music that takes the least amount of talent to be successful in.
