The players on this team aren't good enough to justify how short johnny plays the bench.

Either those guys are horrible that aren't playing, or he is employing a terrible rotation.

He's had 3 recruiting classes and he has 6 players he is comfortable putting on the floor. That isn't good enough.

He's had 2 recruiting classes. The first one he was coach for about 3 weeks before signing day. By the next December we signed a 5 star and two highly rated 4 stars. Last year was a lean year as far as immediate impact guys goes. We knew going in Elbert, Epps, and Bridge would need time to develop. The hope was Odo or Malone would be good enough to at least allow M&M a break. Malone is getting better, but Odo is a black hole. The top end talent is there, but there isn't anything after our top 6. It'd be different if we had 6 or 7 truly reliable guys and then a bunch of guys you can at least trust not frick everything up. We do not. I think a lot of people forget JJ's first year here. He got almost 20 wins out of a team that would've been lucky to win 15 games under Trent. We took Kentucky down to the wire that year. Maybe JJ really is Dale Brown 2.0. Gets more then he should out of lesser talent but has trouble with top level guys. Who the frick knows. It's still way too early to talk in absolutes about Coach Jones.
