re: Anybody here commute 45-60 miles each way for work?

I drove BR to Nola for 2 years, 5 days a week. Absolutely hated it. Had to buy a shitty car b/c my truck was guzzling $4/gallon gas at that time.
Only reason i did it was b/c i knew there would be a promotion to outside sales.
I started looking for another job before i got my promotion b/c in now way was i going to keep driving that much. I actually like my wife, and now i have 2 kids, and spending 3 hours driving by myself every day is a waste of the time i'm going to spend on this earth.
