The dude in that commercial was Italian, not Native American. They can't even get in commercials, and you think we're giving them a whole month? I think our government just wants to sweep them under the rug and pretend we didn't do what we did. The greatest tragedy and travesty of this country. Just read "The Last Days of the Incas" - it's abominable what we white people do to entire civilizations and get away with.

Newsflash: History is written by the victors.

Where do we go from here as we can't change the past?

There's little momentum for reparations or other remedial action in the case of Native Americans. It is not on my radar. If that gets me a ticket to hell, then so be it.

That's just the way it is, some things will never change.
