Finally, I can say this as a member of the "victimized" group (and this only applies to the quoted part): Personal responsibility and better parenting are the answers here, not government intervention. Stop blaming others. Teachers don't have the power to prescribe and force pills down a kid's throat.
No amount of parenting can overcome a teacher's bias against your child (if they're one of the ones that do this - which is most). But I get it, you don't care if your son's teacher holds your son to a different standard or penalizes him for chewing a poptart into the shape of a pistol.
It's incredibly naive of you to dismiss a teacher's role in the medication of kids. Sure, an active, involved parent may not be swayed by a teacher, but there are plenty that have been. Or are you not paying attention? Teacher tells parents something is wrong with their son. Parents, panicked, go to a doctor. They tell the doctor what the teacher told them. Doctor gives boy pills.
So yeah, great parenting can overcome that bias but that's dependent on the parents. Do you feel this country is skewing towards "great parenting?" I don't. Do you trust that these dumbass parents will advocate for their kid instead of going along with the teacher? I don't. Unfortunately, putting the onus on the parents ignores the fact that there are millions of shitty parents. So who suffers? Male children.
How do you imagine figures got this way? Why have men/boys fallen so far behind?
Do you pay taxes? Wouldn't you like some of your taxes to go to programs that support men's causes instead of JUST women's? I'm pretty sure taxation without representation used to be a fairly inciting issue. Do these charts not make you worry for the future of our country, much less the well-being of the male gender?

You make good points but you will never get anyone here to agree with you.
