Where teams get killed on the penalty kill is by not picking up the trash around the goal. Teams who let the puck hang around in the crease are your shitty PK teams

The D men have to fight off screens, knock away rebounds, and clear the puck from the zone.

They do the majority of the work.

The forwards do have a large task but they're always having to scramble for position due to the man disadvantage.

Defensemen and Forwards are both important to the PK. The D's responsibility doesn't change but the intensity of their job does. They also don't get support from the forwards like they do on 5-5

Hate to break up this pillow fight of nonsense, but think a discussion about tonight's matchup of western conference teams is warrented. As of today, the Kings (WTF??) are out of the playoffs. Yeah, I know all they need to do is get into the playoffs, and yeah, I know it's the oilers, but really the only player that's been playing great as of late is Quick. The offense has been cold as shite and they've lost the last 3 games.

Scrivens has been hot for the Oil. Think the Kings prolly win but still rediculous that they are in this position at this point of the season.

Other game of interest for me is San Jose / Vancouver. Will be interesting to see if San Jose can claw their way back in.

Allright back to arguing about PKs
