I love how people want to argue about their tickets, usually over something "not being filled out" or "not being correct."

A lot of D.A.'s offices in Louisiana will reduce moving to non-moving. In my parish, I get them dismissed or reduced, depending on the violator's offense and record.

All this "wrong time" crap is usually just that - nothing that a Judge will use to dismiss the ticket.

That is the best thing one can do. The court will want their money, but they really could care less about having it effect someones insurance. Normally if you pay the court fee, they will reduce it, barring you dont have some crazy rap sheet or extensively bad driving record.

If I see a service member in uniform in the "ticket line", I'll help him or her out for free.

Well I was charted for an offense that didn't fit the alleged offense---

So which one was it? I think that's a fair question to ask.

And honestly, I did not go 18 mph over the speed limit. Max was 9-10 mph.
