I don't hate Miles. In fact, I like the guy. But I do think he handled the QB situation very poorly this year. You're telling me that giving a true freshman his first start on the road at Auburn and letting him play a half is a fair shot? And then looking at the product AJ put out the rest of the year and doing nothing about it was fair too?

They already admitted to handling it wrong, Cam Cameron said that personally. The fact that people take that as favoritism towards Jennings or that Harris will never get another shot is just their hatred towards Miles.

"Brandon Harris is faster, throws the ball harder and really runs hard.. Miles said after the Bowl game." "Why Harris did not play more last season will forever be a mystery. His ability shined early with spectacular performances against Mississippi State (His 2 TDs in 23 seconds vs Miss State set a record for BH and Dupre) and New Mexico State in relief of Jennings. Nine of the 10 combined drives he led in those games resulted in touchdowns." In the NMST game AJ went 1-for-7 with a fumble and 2 back-to-back INTs (repeated 2 INTs in Ole Miss game) for a -21 QBR. Harris went 7-for-7, and 9-for-10 in 20 minutes of playing time that translated to 3.15 pts per minute, 63 pts, a pace nearly twice as high as Oregon and the highest QB rating in the nation at 243.

However, AJ from that point forward accounted for only 5 TDs in the last 10 games, the lowest scoring rate in the nation, historically low, never seen before low. Less TDs in 10 games than Harris had in 20 minutes! His 2 TDs to Dupre in 2 minutes of playing time vs Miss State = 7 pts/min.

The NFL is pass first/pass second with 55-68% of plays being passes, 75% shotgun (avg) with 58% of plays having 3 or more WRs. Manning avgs 86% shotgun, Flacco 87% (2013) with the Eagles over 92%.

Jennings stalled, regressed as the season went on. Over the last 4 games he had 3 TDs, 4 INTs, 3 fumbles, (20 sks on the yr), avg 10 completions, (40/85 = 47%), 11 pts/game and ranked from 126-128th in the FBS.

DatBayouBengal and others repeatedly say that Harris only played 2 years in High School when he played 4 and came from a football family. He took over the junior varsity team in 9th grade, a group that had not won a game in 2 years and they went 8-2 with Harris whipping stinging spirals so hard the receivers all had to get gloves..just walked out of nowhere with an NFL arm, throwing perfect spirals, reading defenses, leading a team, and breaking tackles with his hard running style. He threw a 74 yd pass as a sophomore. As the number 1 DTQB in the nation (until he committed to LSU) in his senior season he accounted for as much rushing, passing, and offensive scoring as LSU in 2013. Have a look at his senior highlights: Brandon Harris Parkway High School Senior Season (Division 1 QB) and his background LSU Freshman Brandon Harris is a Special Talent
