Because she doesn't know that it's only "local." She is assuming that they are looking for her and "if they are thorough," they will be monitoring/contacting dentists--all of them.

I can see that.
Although, you would think the KGB would have a dentist on the payroll (they certainly have doctors [see Elizabeth end of Season One]).
