It's hilarious to me that people think it's harder to play some power chords than it is to make an album like My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. But just because they're playing a guitar...it's music

Having created music on both mediums, I can tell you it's much harder on guitar. It sometimes takes years to become proficient enough on guitar to write quality stuff. With the computer software it really only takes a few days.

It's really the difference between pushing a button that instantly produces a lasagna or making a lasagna from scratch. One could call themselves a cook, the other could not

Exactly. The overwhelming majority of people could learn to play and write rock and traditional music way before classic beats by good producers like Kanye.

I agree 100%. Just because somebody makes music with a medium other than your traditional instruments doesn't make it "not music." It's the same as comparing somebody playing a few power chords (like you said) to soembody playing something very complex on a guitar. They are both "music." Some prefer one or the other. You'd have to be pretty full of yourself to believe you are some authority on what constitutes something as "music."
