I like Jack and have enjoyed many, many of his movies but how often does he stray from the Nicholson persona? He's a great movie star, DDL is a great actor.

My crowning movie for jack is a tie between the shining and one flew over..
He sorta strayed away from the jackness in "the pledge", which had potential to be a great film, executed poorly though.
